Kumbla football team won Football championship held at Manjeshwar. In final kumbla team met Kasaragod church team defeating them at fenalty shootout. Earlier the considered as underdogs won against the host manjeshwar team defeating 1-0. In the first match between Mariyashram church team that match also ended in goalless. so the championship conductors at the end taken the decision to breakup kumbla team won that match. the hero of the championship hard striker Mr. Nelson D'souza also an athlete and other fighting guns. He also won best striker award. Best goalkeeper award bagged simon D'souza and this lamboo goalee is really real champ us. credit goes to other members also their ability to deffend and shocking breakthrough.
